Hi there! I'm Ieshia.
Fun fact: I didn’t originally plan on becoming a tutor.

My original goal was to become a pediatric nurse, but the Lord gently redirected my path toward education and the work I now truly love. My passion for working with children began while volunteering in my church nursery as a high school student, where I discovered how much I enjoyed encouraging kids and helping them grow.

Today, I run TWIG Tutoring Services, providing personalized online tutoring for elementary students who need extra support in reading and math.
You Can Trust Your Child’s Education Here
Tutoring allows me to give students the individualized attention they often can’t receive in a busy classroom. Each session is tailored to the student’s learning needs and focuses on strengthening foundational academic skills.

My instruction aligns with Texas TEKS standards and focuses on helping students truly understand the material rather than simply memorizing answers. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges.
I Understand the Struggles Many Students Face
Many students come to tutoring feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or unsure of their abilities in school. I understand how discouraging it can be when a child feels like they are falling behind or struggling to keep up with grade-level expectations.

Through patient instruction and step-by-step guidance, I help students break difficult concepts into manageable pieces so learning feels less overwhelming and more achievable.
Your Child Can Build Confidence and Improve
My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to help them build confidence and develop strong academic foundations that support long-term success.

When students begin to understand concepts that once felt impossible, their confidence grows — and that confidence often carries over into the classroom as well.

Watching students gain both competence and confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
